There’s only one word to describe today – wet.

The skies opened up before I’d even left the hotel, so for the first time while I’ve been riding, I donned my raincoat… That’s not to say it hasn’t rained on me before – it’s just never rained this much.

I guess this is what happens when you come through central Vietnam in the rainy season huh?

Anyway, the stats* from day 20:

Distance: 86.93km
Riding Time: 4 hours, 53 minutes
Average Speed: 17.7 km/h
Average Temperature: 24°C

By the end of the ride today, my bikes covered in dirt… I’m covered in dirt… Everything is just wet and muddy! What a miserable kind of way to end a ride!

On the plus side, the scenery looked pretty good today – at least it did any time I had the courage to look up and get rain flying into my face!

So instead of telling you more of my soggy story – I took a picture!
